Weerribben-Wieden National Park in collaboration, with its woodland, heathland, farmland and wetland areas, is ideal for hiking and cycling. Eesveen borders a huge forest of 1,000 hectares, De Eese. For shopping, the inhabitants and visitors of the village have to rely on the places Vledder and Steenwijk, which are only five kilometers away.
